Farm Babies - April 30 - June 5Join us for this spring-time family tradition! Farm Babies is back for an up-close look at farm life in Minnesota. Celebrate the season with animals, farm demonstrations, and more.
This year, we plan to have barns open for guests to access; additionally, with the event taking place during a time with predictably warmer weather, and new goat play yard features and shade structures, this will allow more opportunities for the animals to be outside and viewed in their outdoor areas.
Aside from the newborn Farm Babies, guests will be able to enjoy daily programs at the refreshed Farm, a new tractor and farm equipment area, and three special nights with exciting activities for adults 21 and older, Farm Nights. (Learn more: https://bit.ly/3L4NYk6 )

-Do I have to purchase a ticket?
Farm Babies is included with Zoo admission. Tickets to the Zoo must be purchased online and in advance.
-What is the distance out to the Wells Fargo Family Farm? Is there transportation provided?
The Wells Fargo Family Farm is approximately .73 miles from the main entrance building. There is no transportation from the main building to the Farm entrance. A limited number of electric convenience vehicles (ECVs) are available for rent.
-What are the hours that we can access the Wells Fargo Family Farm?
The Farm is open daily 9:30 am to 4:00 pm.
-What baby animals will be at the Farm?
Goat kids, calves, piglets, baby lambs and llamas are all viewable animals at the Farm. Certain baby animals are kept indoors for warmth and safety and can be viewed through open barn doors as weather allows. Please limit viewing time to minimize wait time for other guests.
-Is there food for purchase at the Farm?
There will be food available for purchase at the Country Fare Cafe. Hours are 11:00 am to 3:00 pm daily, subject to change.
-Is Farm Babies weather dependent?
Rain, shine, or snow the farm will be open.
-Is Farm Babies and the Wells Fargo Family Farm ADA accessible?
Yes, both are accessible.
-Is there an ATM?
Yes, there are ATMs at the Farm and inside the Zoo.
-Are there restrooms at the Farm?
Restrooms are available at the Farm House and behind the Granary Classroom.
