Farm (and Other F Words) - Book Talk

Farm (and Other F Words) is a book that explores why we farm the way we do, and how we might approach farming differently to grow more good food, create good jobs, and achieve good environmental outcomes. DC-based author Sarah Mock will be discussing her book (copies will be available for signing and purchase) and the future of farming with us on 7/31 at The Pug in NE DC. Join us at one of DC's favorite dive bars to discuss our food/farm system and what the f*&! we can do about it.
There will be a short excerpt reading by Sarah, followed by a moderated Q&A, and then plenty of time after to hang out with the author and each other! The Share a Seed project will also be on hand to share seeds with the community (and hopefully we'll have some brand new bandanas for sale as well!).
This event is free and open to the public, though please be advised The Pug is a bar and relevant age restrictions will apply.
