About this Event
Farha
Farha is an historical account of a 14-year-old Palestinian girl who lives through the 1948 Nakba (catastrophe) - that led to the displacement of 750,000 Palestinian citizens and deaths of 15,000 more.
The film centres on Farha’s experiences when she is locked in a storage room by her father, as Israeli soldiers attack her village. It is a powerful, provocative & profoundly harrowing coming-of-age journey of a young girl whose innocence is destroyed by the violence she witnesses
