September is National Mushroom Month, and the Greenbelt is a fantastic place to take a leisurely-paced hike in search of mushrooms and other fungi. From amantia and boletes to slime molds and turkey tail, we could potentially spot a wide variety of fungi.
Dress appropriately for hiking outdoors in the weather conditions. Sneakers or hiking boots are recommended.
