About this Event
Be inspired by models, dioramas and fossils in the museum’s collection and learn about how museums create replica objects for exhibitions. Experiment with specialist sculpting and mould making materials like silicon and plaster to make your own marvellous models and spectacular sculptures using your favourite objects or specimens.
Create your own moulds and casts to fill with a variety of materials like soap, wax, plaster or even chocolate!

Please arrive to the registration desk in museum foyer 5-10 mins prior to the program. Parents/ carers will be required to sign permission forms on the day. Participants are fully supervised for this program.
Participants to bring their own lunch/snacks or money to buy lunch from the museum cafe. Wear suitable clothing, sturdy shoes and sun protection for any time spent outdoors. All materials for the workshop are supplied.
