About this Event
Join LUSH Valley and Chef Jill Lamberts of Shorewolf Farm in this hands-on workshop demonstrating how to make sauerkraut and kimchi.
Chef Jill will discuss how to feed your gut bacteria, the benefits of probiotics, and the various vessels and techniques that can be used while fermenting. Participants should come prepared to experiment in the kitchen, taste something new, and take it home!
Please bring two clean 1L mason jars and one 250mL jar with lids. If you do not have jars, the facilitator can provide them.
A full meal will not be served at this workshop, but there will be a range of snacks available.
Jill Lamberts is a Chef and Farmer passionate about growing, fermenting, cooking & enjoying local food. She has a professional background in culinary arts and a wealth of knowledge in fermenting, baking, canning, and more.
Please note: Bursaries are available for this workshop. If the cost of this workshop is a barrier for you in attending, please send us an email at [email protected].
