Troupe Dagaz is excited to be hosting "Fantastic Fauxe": Belly Dance Showcase at Old North Bar. We're gonna start 2025 with a bang! Every year we have a winter "hafla" or dance party to celebrate the year and to bring our community together and of course, every show must have a fantastic theme! This year our theme is woodland creatures and spirits, fairies, ethereal beings. They can be dark, they can be light or they can be downright foxy. Come as you are or come in costume but one thing is for sure, we're gonna have a good time!We chose this theme in honor of one of our beloved dance sisters, Tasha Fauxe. She has stage 3 ovarian cancer and has been undergoing chemo and could use our help. This will be a free show but we will be collecting donations to help Tasha and her family. Earlier in the day we are hosting a couple of belly dance workshops with Zahara's Tangled Web at The Massage Center and participants will be dancing in this showcase.
