Trio Paradis play a Café Concert on the last Friday of each month at 1pm at St John's Church: informal feel-good music events with a pop-up café where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and home-made cakes, or simply relax and enjoy beautiful music in a range of styles.April's programme is a collection of music inspired by love and flights of fancy: from well-known (Moonlight Serenade, Schumann Fantasy Piece, Schubert Serenade) to little-known gems such as a dazzling Scherzo by Cécile Chaminade, a spooky Scherzo by Blair Fairchild, and a lovely Serenade by Scandinavian Romantic composer, Laura Netzel.
Concerts last c45mins and entrance is free with pay-what-you-feel donation invited. Refreshments - tea, coffee & home-made cakes - on sale in the pop-up café half an hour before the concert. No need to book, just turn up!
You can find out more at www.trioparadis.com and listen to live-streamed concerts on the Trio Paradis and Malmesbury Abbey YouTube channel.
