Hi to all of the past participants at our autocross events. Our next event is coming up on November 2, 2024 and registration is now open. This will be our last event at the HEB Center in Cedar Park as they have decided not to allow events such as this in the future. We have designed a fun course that should be a bit faster than previous ones, so those of you with high horsepower vehicles should have a blast. But don’t worry, those with mid-engine vehicles will have plenty of turns to show just how nimble your cars can be. Those of you who are PCA members can have your licensed child, niece/nephew or grandkid join under the PCA Junior Participation Program. Two drivers can share a vehicle but must change your car number between run groups either with different magnetic numbers (available at clubregistration.net) or by adding/removing a digit at the beginning or end of the car number. A novice walk and plenty of instructors will help all drivers to feel comfortable with the course and improve their times, especially any individuals that have never done an autocross before.
We will limit the number of participants to 60 and will have a waitlist in case of late cancellations. The cost will be the same as in the past, $45 for PCA members, $55 for non-PCA drivers. Everyone will get a practice run and we expect 9 to 10 timed runs for every participant. We will share live results via a Google sheet and will name the class winners at the conclusion of the event with plaques delivered later.
