Organist and pianist Susan Jane Matthews joins with cellist Haruka Ota and poet Mia Malhotra to open the Sundays at 4pm series with music of Fanny Hensel and Felix Mendelssohn, German Romantic composer siblings extraordinaire. In this one-hour concert, two organ sonatas by Felix frame the Easter Sonata for piano, cello sonatas of Fanny, and poetry woven from Fanny’s letters. A free-will donation benefits the Choir School.
