ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Family Systems Theory for Ministry offers an accessible introduction to Bowen Family Systems Theory, focusing on key concepts such as anxiety, emotional triangles, self-differentiation, and systems thinking. Through the lens of this theory, participants will explore how emotional processes impact leadership and relationships in congregational and ministry settings. The course includes opportunities to apply theory to real-life situations and to reflect on one’s own family and ministry system in a supportive learning community.
