Epilepsy Action NI’s Family Support Service has organised an afternoon of snowtubing at Craigavon Golf & Ski Centre on Saturday 30th November 2024 12 noon - 2pm. If you haven’t tried snowtubing before, you don’t know what you’re missing!This is a great opportunity to have fun whilst meeting other families affected by epilepsy. We’ll also have lunch together in the Ski Lodge café next door.
The event is for children and young people affected by epilepsy aged from 5 to 16 and their families across Northern Ireland.
For parents and guardians, this will be a great opportunity to meet and share experiences.
Admission is £10 per family and booking is essential to reserve your family’s spot.
Additional information
• Lunch will be provided for all children, along with drinks. Sandwiches and tea / coffee will be provided for parents.
• Please ensure that children are dressed appropriately for activities. Craigavon Golf & Ski Centre recommends that all children wear gloves, clothing that covers their arms and legs and sturdy walking boots / trainers.
• The event will go ahead even if it rains – we’re told it makes the snow tubes go faster! It will only be cancelled in the event of extremely high winds and we will contact you about this.
• There is ample free parking at Craigavon Golf & Ski Centre.
• Parents must supervise their children at all times.
• If you have concerns about access or special requirements, please let us know before the event.
• Please note that for health and safety reasons, only children registered to attend will be allowed to join us on the day. We expect this event to be extremely popular and become fully booked. Please only book a space if you are sure that you can attend.
This event is open to anyone who has a family member or loved one that lives with epilepsy.
