About this Event

Epilepsy Action NI’s Family Support Service in partnership with cap has organised A ground-breaking eco-aware design project producing new fashion using recycled materials. 

The Trash Fashion is a highly engaging and educational activity focused on creativity, fun, and sustainability. It’s a hands-on projects that turn everyday waste into exciting costumes.  

This is a great opportunity to have great fun whilst meeting other families affected by epilepsy  

The event is for young people with epilepsy aged from 6  to 12.  

A seating area with light refreshments will be provided for parents to sit, chat, and have a cuppa.  

Additional information:

  • This is a 6 week project and will happen every Wednesday starting on the 14th of January at 6pm to 8pm.  
  • Please ensure that children are dressed appropriately for activities. As they will be using art supplies old clothes is recommended. 
  • There is free parking at venue. 
  • Parents must accompany young people to event and stay on site throughout event.  
  • If you have concerns about access or special requirements, please let us know before the event. 
  • A seating area with light refreshments will be provided for parents. 
  • Please note that for health and safety reasons, only children registered to attend will be allowed to join us on the day. We expect this event to be extremely popular and become fully booked. Please only book a space if you are sure that you can attend.
