NAMI Family Support Group is a free, confidential support group for family members, caregivers, and loved ones of individuals living with mental health conditions. The group is peer-led, meaning it’s facilitated by people who have lived experience supporting a loved one with mental illness.Participants have a safe, non-judgmental space to:
• Share experiences and be heard
• Learn coping skills and communication strategies
• Gain education and understanding about mental health
• Reduce isolation and build hope through connection
There is no pressure to speak, advice is not forced, and everything shared stays confidential. The group focuses on empathy, mutual support, and practical understanding, helping families feel less alone and more empowered.
