About this Event
Join Laura for a gentle, connection-centered storytime designed to support children’s emotional world. Through thoughtfully chosen stories and craft activity, Laura helps children explore big feelings, empathy, and self-regulation in a warm, welcoming setting. Parents can expect an inclusive and (mostly) calm experience where kids are encouraged to listen, connect, create and simply be themselves.
As Laura says, "Major life changes and negative past experiences can be overwhelming, no matter your age. Differences in brain functioning (like ADHD or autism) and difficult family or romantic relationships can make things that much harder. My goal is to stay by your side, listening carefully and helping YOU navigate your challenges with compassion, courage, and authenticity."
About our reader: Laura Brignone, ASW, is a child and family therapist who supports children with big emotions, anxiety, and life transitions through play-based, relationship-centered care. She brings a calm, grounded presence and believes children grow best when they feel safe, seen, and understood. Laura loves using storytelling to build emotional awareness and connection, and she has a natural ability to help children settle, engage, and feel at ease. She is an Associate Therapist at Stay Mindful Therapy and is passionate about creating supportive, community-based experiences for families
