Summary:
Stories are how we remember, connect, and make sense of who we are — but too often, they fade because we’ve stopped telling them. The Family Story Circle Workshop is designed to help you rebuild that storytelling muscle and strengthen your family’s bond through story.
In this interactive session, you’ll learn how to:
- Start and facilitate family storytelling circles with confidence
- Use prompts and exercises that help loved ones open up
- Capture and preserve stories through voice, writing, or video
- Create space for healing, laughter, and understanding across generations
We’ll explore why storytelling matters, practice together, and reflect on how to keep your family’s stories alive long after the workshop ends. You’re invited to bring a family photo (optional) to inspire your storytelling during our exercises.
The day will end with a one-hour story coaching session where you’ll receive guidance and feedback to help you craft your first family story circle plan.
Because when we tell our stories, we don’t just remember where we come from — we build the foundation for where we’re going.
