Beginner Sewing Course
What you will Learn:
-Setting up Machine
-How to Measure Clients
-Creating Basic Pieces
-Fabric Theory
-Learn How to use sewing Patterns
Come and enjoy this class as a family! Adults are invited to bring a child with them. Children must be age 10 and older and accompanied by an adult in order to sign up.
ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST REGISTER AND PAY THE FEE. The $53 fee is for EACH PARTICIPANT!
Materials List:
-Sewing Machine
-threaded bobbin
-1 yard of cotton or cotton/poly blend of fabric swatches (could change from week to week)
-thread
-scissors
***You can find everything you will need at Joann's, Hobby Lobby, or Michael's.
CLASS DATES:WEDNESDAYS 4/3, 4/10, 4/17, 4/24, 5/1, 5/8 (Six Weeks of Classes)
CLASS TIME: 6-8pm
CLASS LOCATION: Lee County Public Education Center 2855 Colonial Blvd. Fort Myers, FL
If the instructor has to cancel a class for any reason, a makeup class will be offered.
All Lee County Lifelong Learning classes must meet a minimum student enrollment or the class will be canceled and a full refund will be issued.
