About this Event
Cast a wide net! The Seine Net program highlights the importance of the Little Narragansett Bay ecosystem and its connection to the Napatree Point Conservation Area. Join the Naturalists as they literally cast a large net into the water, catching marine life for up-close and personal examination. Grab your own mini dip net and delight in what you can bring to the surface.
Participants should be prepared to get their feet wet and clothing dirty.
Open to all ages. Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
This program is designed to last 90 minutes so participants can utilize the free parking along Bay Street.
This program will start at 9:00 AM and participants will meet at the Napatree Point Conservation Area entrance.
Light rain will not cancel these events, but a downpour will.
