Grab your friends and family members for our Family Saturday class! We welcome all ages, but an adult must accompany anyone under the age of 18.During this two-hour session, you will receive 15-20 minutes of instruction that teach you the basics of handbuilding with clay. You are free to create whatever your heart desires (aside from some size restrictions). You will have two instructors available to help you create your pieces.
Each participant will receive:
- 3 lbs of clay. This is enough to create a cup, bowl, plate, or small sculpture.
- Colored underglaze to add color to your unfired pieces.
- Final glaze: After the first firing, we will add a clear glossy glaze to your piece that will increase its durability and make it food-safe.
