About this Event
The Family Place Playtime Workshop is a free, 5-week program for families with children ages 1-3 years old. The program is a casual, open playtime where children are able to play together and meet other kids and families. Parents/caregivers will have the chance to spend quality time playing with their child while talking one-on-one with a different child development specialist each week.
*** Due to limited space, registration is required to attend.***
REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Your registration will secure your spot for all five (5) weeks of the program. If you cannot attend all five sessions, that is okay! We encourage you to attend as many sessions as you are able to.
Topics covered include nutrition, movement, early literacy, and developmental milestones. This event page will be updated with the full week-by-week schedule at the time of registration.
EACH WEEK WE WILL HAVE:
- A visiting professional from a local organization, focused on an area of child development
- Toys for child-driven play
- Art activity station
- A brief circle-time at the end to help transition out of the playtime
- Community resources/educational brochures available to take home
