Lichen is a unique organism given that it’s both green plant and fungi. Moss, too, is unique among plants. Both grow on top of rocks, roots, tree bar, and other surfaces to colonize and get the few nutrients they need to survive. We’ll search for both at the Sodalis Nature Preserve and see what we can learn about them.
