A healing and joy-filled retreat for everyone interested in mindfulness. All welcome from age 4+Welcome to the Immeasurable Minds Family Weekend Retreat by popular demand! Hopefully we can make this much requested inclusive retreat possible.
All age children 4+ (accompanied by parents or guardians, of course!) are very welcome, as are young adults who are also being offered consession rates (up to age 25).
Depending on the age and number of children, there will be separate children's programmes offered by parent volunteers who practice mindfulness in their daily lives (feel free to offer your skills by contacting Bridgeen).
Similarly, young adults may have their own activities too. There will also be an adult programme running, and single adult practitioners are very welcome to attend with or without family. We will endeavour to do as many activities together as a whole community, such as walking meditation, mindful movement, and meals.
Early booking is essential so we can devise a programme and secure the booking.
Corrymeela is the perfect venue to host us. We will have the beautiful and modern 'Davey Village' at Corrymela, Ballycastle on the stunning North Antrim Coast all to ourselves. AND We will have opportunity to do outdoor walking meditation on the nearby beach! (photos above from previous Corrymeela retreat a few years ago).
All meals and refreshments from Friday evening dinner to Sunday lunch are included. In line with the tradition of Immeasurable Minds all meals will be vegetarian. Over and above this please let Bridgeen know your specific food requirements, allergies, vegan etc when booking...
All rooms have single beds and are ensuite. Towels are provided.
