Our annual Family Literacy Day celebration returns to the Tidemark Theatre! Join us on January 27 at 1 PM for a free Family Literacy Day event with award winning Indigenous artist Kym Gouchie. Through storytelling, music, and interactive moments, Kym invites kids and caregivers to explore the joy of language, listening, and imagination together.A JUNO nominated and Western Canadian Music Award winning artist, Kym brings stories rooted in family, culture, and community to the stage in a way that connects across generations. This special event is presented in partnership with Campbell River Family Literacy Association and School District 72 as part of a community wide celebration of reading, learning, and creativity.
