The middle of the 1800s encompassed the years of the Civil War that was an important time for families- those divided and those able to stay together. Missing family from our holiday tables... some never to return... showed just how very important our families were, especially at these times of year. We will be filling our rooms with the scents and color of evergreens, as well as ribbons and bows making festive images in an otherwise solemn time.
Join us to hear holiday music from the era played by The Overtones. Enjoy cookies and sweets, baked by the loving hands of family and friends to bring happiness to the Benson-Hammond House.
Saturday from 11 am until 4 pm and Sunday 12 pm until 4 pm.
