Interested in discovering your ancestors? Want to work on your family history? A quick overview of beginning steps will be presented every half hour from 10:30 to 12:30. Volunteers from the Peoria County Genealogical Society will be available to help you get started, or maybe even break down a brick wall.
Orientations to the Peoria Local History and Genealogy Room will be given on the half hours. Learn about this special section of the library and how to get started researching your family.
No reservations are needed. Bring questions about your ancestors and sit for a short time with a volunteer - you never know what you will find! Not a Peoria family? No worries, come on down to the lower level of the Main Library anyway.
