Join Friends of the Forest to learn all about the mushrooms of the ACFL!About this Event
Witches butter, ink caps, puffballs and more! Join Friends of the ACFL for a mushroom scavenger hunt at Whistle Lake to learn about our marvelous mushrooms. We’ll also have on the trail storytime and make a forest inspired craft to take home.
This hike is ideal for families with kids ages 0-10 and we will take a slow pace with stops along the way to accommodate our smallest hikers. We welcome everyone hoping to appreciate the ACFL, but please be aware that this hike will be at a slower pace than our other community hikes.
