Family Harmony is a program by the Coram Creative Therapy Team, supported by the DWP, aimed at addressing the negative effects of conflict on children. It is a multi-family therapeutic support group for parents and caregivers with their children, including those with additional needs. Utilizing family, music, and art therapy techniques, the program focuses on improving communication and strengthening relationships to create a more harmonious home environment for children.
Families have benefited from 10 sessions of creating art and music together in a supportive environment, strengthening bonds and enhancing communication. Following this success, a toolkit and training have been developed to help other practitioners facilitate similar groups.
