About this Event
We are looking to create a community where our purpose is for families and their children to come together to build a warm, welcoming, and supportive space. We believe that meaningful relationships grow through shared experiences, open conversations, and genuine connection. Our gatherings create space for parents and caregivers to support one another, exchange ideas, and find comfort in knowing they’re not navigating this journey alone. Children can play, learn, and form friendships of their own, while adults foster bonds that strengthen their sense of belonging. Whether you’re seeking peer support, new friendships, or simply a deeper connection with those who understand the joys and challenges of raising a family. Then join us on Saturday January 17th 2026 at Gage Park to find a place in our community for you to feel seen, supported, and connected.
Activities for this event will vary depending on weather. If there is snow we will go toboggan, if the weather is mild we can explore the playground. We will take cover in the greenhouse with activities if the weather is frightful.
Facilitator: Melissa and Stone
Melissa: Melissa, BAEd, MSEd is a mother, a former educator and aspires to be the little old witch in the woods. She has been working with children and their families for 25+ years in a variety of environments. For the last 3 years she has been home educating her daughter using alternative methods.
