Join us for a family-friendly fun ride to support protected bike lanes on Annerley Rd. Thanks to our campaign, Council has State government funding to study major improvements including:
- Protected bike & scooter lanes
- Safe crossings at Cornwall St and Noble St near Dutton Park station
- A new safe crossing over Annerley Rd near Denham St and
- Safer speed limits
Council is actively considering these upgrades, but they will only happen with very strong community support.
Big numbers at this community ride will help demonstrate that Annerley locals want these changes. We’ll share the latest updates about the campaign, and about our grant-funded school Bike Bus.
WHEN: Gather at 9.30am for a 9.45am start.
START: Meet at Hefferan Park, Annerley Rd next to Dutton Park Station.
RIDE: We’ll ride up to BSSSC, then back along Annerley Rd, past the Junction Hotel and down Ekibin Rd.
FINISH & COFFEE: We'll catch up over coffee and snacks at Snag & Brown cafe, Ekibin Rd Annerley.
If you’d prefer, you can just join us at Snag & Brown from about 10.30am.
We’ll travel slowly, and participants can ride on the road or the footpath.
