We’re excited to welcome Bruce “Hoppo” Hopkins from Bondi Rescue to Stromlo for a special GOswim Family Fun Day! This is a great chance for families to enjoy the pool, learn important water safety skills and meet Hoppo in person. Free entry for all GOswim families.Date: Sunday, 14th December 2025
Time: 1:30pm – 4:00pm
Where: Stromlo Leisure Centre
Please make sure to be at the venue by 1:00pm
At 1:30pm, Hoppo will be in the pool alongside our GOswim Teachers delivering Float & Survive teaching sessions (15–30 minute time slots).
Enjoy an afternoon full of family activities, including:
• Pool Inflatable & water play
• Face painting
• Balloon fun
• Outdoor games on the grass
• Water activities with our GOswim Teachers
• Lochie the Lifeguard appearance
• BBQ
• Small giveaways and prizes
3:30pm onwards, join us for photos, signatures and a quick chat with Hoppo.
