Join us on Saturday, February 8th for the first Family Fun Day of 2025. The Family Fun Day series is a free, monthly program hosted by the Aiken County Historical Museum and funded by the Friends of the ACHM. The goal for each Family Fun Day program is to showcase a piece of Aiken County's history in a way that is fun for the whole family.February's Family Fun Day will feature a short talk at 11 am by SRARP archaeologist Buddy Wingard on enslaved potter David Drake and his amazing pottery works that feature his poetry. Guests will even get to see one of Drake's pots in person! After the talk, attendees will be invited to make a pot with air-dray clay.
