Enjoy a time outdoors with free food and activities for the familiy at the FAmily Fun Day event at Abiding Word Lutheran Church in Brenham, TX.Some of the events:
• Obstacle course – inflatable
• Bounce house – for younger kids
• Knot tying station – roger will make two stations
• Fire Starting Station – ways to start a fire with magnifying glass, bow drill, and other. Teach a little fire safety. Perhaps the Fire Department may want to send somebody to help with station
• Axe throwing station, and blade throwing station – can be together
• Fishing pole casting into hula hoops.
• Teamwork course – find ideas for teamwork/building. Perhaps a board with ropes and two or more must move it together. They stand on two boards and hold the ropes and move from start to finish line.
• 1130 have VFW/American legion present for flag folding ceremony and taps
• KWHI Wagon with prizes
