Experience the magic and wonder of Untermyer Gardens during Family Fun Day on Sunday, October 5, from 12:00 noon until 4:00 p.m. It will be a day filled with captivating magic, engaging activities, and the joy of creating lasting family memories.
This year, all events and activities are included when you pay one price. With your ticket purchase, you can arrive at 12:00 noon to enjoy a picnic inside the Walled Garden. Bring your own food and beverages and a blanket or portable chairs. This is the only day of the year that picnicking is allowed in the splendor of the Walled Garden. At 1:00 p.m., you’ll be treated to the Magic Show in the Amphitheater with MYSTIQUE sponsored by Flavors of Magic. After the show, enjoy activities from 2:00-4:00 p.m.: learn magic you can do with everyday stuff; meet the Animal Ambassadors from the Nature Center at Greenburgh; take part in a scavenger hunt to discover unique plants, vibrant mosaics, and intriguing sculptures; get a temporary sea creature tattoo; create your own recycled art; and even relax for some story time.
FAMILY FUN DAY SCHEDULE:
- 12:00 noon -- Enjoy your picnic inside the Walled Garden starting at 12:00 noon. Bring your own food and beverages, and a blanket or folding chairs. This is the only day of the year that picnicking is allowed in the Walled Garden! No balls or other sports equipment. As always, no pets.
- 1:00-1:45 p.m. -- returns with an exciting new magic show by , who will amaze and delight the whole family.
- 2-4:00 p.m. -- Animal Ambassadors from the in the East Loggia
- 2-4:00 p.m. -- Be a Magician! Learn magic you can do with everyday stuff with the
- 2-4:00 p.m. -- More Activities: Create your very own recycled art sculpture in the West Loggia. ----- Take part in a Scavenger Hunt throughout the Walled Garden to discover unique plants, vibrant mosaics, and intriguing sculptures. ----- Get a temporary sea creature tattoo. ----- Take a break from the activity to chill out with storytime in the Stoa.

- Children 12 and under: $10 each
- Children 2 and under are Free
- Family Pack (up to 5 people) purchased in advance: $50 until sold out
