About this Event
You're invited to our joyous and music-filled Rosh Hashanah daytime service! Experience the richness of Jewish culture through a Humanistic lens, and discover a refreshing approach to tradition and spirituality with Kahal B'raira (KB), Boston's only Humanstisic Jewish congregtation.
Whether you're deeply connected to Jewish traditions or exploring them for the first time, our Humanistic service offers a meaningful and accessible experience for all.
This short and sweet service, lasting about an hour, is appropriate for both kids and adults and includes:
🎶 Inspiring music and cultural traditions
💭 A thought-provoking member reflection by one of our teens
📚A breakout activity for children who can benefit from a change and some movement. While the activities are geared toward younger children 5 and under, children of all ages are welcome to attend with a caregiver
🍎🍯 Delicious apples, honey & challah for noshing at the end
The service will run from approximately 10:00-11:15 am, and will be followed immediately by a light vegetarian kiddush luncheon.
This service is free and open to the public. No prior knowledge or religious background is required – just bring an open mind and heart!
Additionally, these services are held in-person in Arlington, MA and virtually via Zoom.
