Family Friendly Learn 'n' Roll -All ages

All ages and abilities warmly welcomed.
What happens at family friendly learn n' roll?
It is a roller disco, but at the Ramgarhia Sports Centre!
Expect old school disco vibes, complete with a small tuck shop
Quad and inline skaters are welcome. We have a small amount of space for accompanying non-skating partners.
Is this a coached session?
No. - Our marshalls will help you get started rolling if you are new to skating. There is a part of the hall for practising and moving slowly, the rest of the hall is set out as a rink.
If you would like to learn how to do a specific skate skill you can ask our marshall team.
Please note, however that our team needs to look after all the skaters in the session so they'll give you a few quick tips for you to try out on your own.
Will skate hire be available?
Yes, We recommend you ask for your regular shoe size. If you try skates on and they're not right for you, we are happy to swap them. Our skate hire is available in full sizes only, from Junior 8 - Adult UK 15. There are also a few toddler skates available. All hire skates are hired on a first come first served basis You no longer need to book a hire ticket online.
Skate hire is now available from the Hire cupboard for £2 per session - you can pay by cash or card.
We will also have protective pads available for you to borrow on a first come first served basis.
Will refreshments be available?
Yes. A selection of cold drinks will be available. Please note: Due to the nature of the venue we are unable to provide hot drinks - There is no cafe onsite. Food is not allowed to be consumed in the hall.
