Calling all families! Fishing is a great way to bring people together to create lifelong memories.Our workshop is designed to teach families with children the basic skills needed to go fishing. It doesn’t matter if you’re a first-timer or expert angler, this workshop will help get everyone in the family on the path to creating an outdoor adventure and cherished fishing memories.
This workshop is a hands-on learning experience for all, to include fishing on the center’s stocked ponds. Families will learn:
-How to set up and cast a fishing rod
-How to tie a basic fishing knot
-How to catch a fish
-Catch and Release fishing methods
-How to properly handle a fish
What you need to know:
- Children 15 years and younger need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian
-All tackle and bait are provided (no outside tackle or bait permitted).
