Your child can learn the basics of theatre with this simple but fun workshop led by Tiffany Bryant-Jackson!Creative play and Drama has proven to not only be fun but expand kids' emotional awareness. Participants will learn the basics of drama and channel their creativity in this theater workshop tailored to beginners. They will gain a greater understanding of theatre while learning the intricacies of performing through fun, theatrical warm-ups, character-building activities and teamwork exercises. Participations will then explore a story through movement, characterization, and improvisation to help them create their own masterpiece.
This experience is perfect for ages 5-10 years, and no prior theatre background is needed. A ticket is needed for all children participating, and must be accompanied by a caregiver.

About the teaching artist:
Tiffany Bryant-Jackson began her life in theatre when she entered Elon University's theatre program in 1998. She made the move to Charlotte in 2006 and has been blessed to work with numerous local production companies. In all her pursuits she feels most passionate about sharing theatre with young audiences and introducing the stage to a diverse group of students. She believes every theatre experience is a seed planted and when nurtured will grow a community.
