Back again by popular demand.......Maidstone Leisure Centre is booked for exclusive sessions of Amazon Adventure soft play and Lava Slides followed by Swimming in the Leisure Pool. You can buy tickets for either or for both.We have exclusive use of Amazon Adventure and the Lava Slides for an hour 4.30 pm to 5.30 pm. There will be no age restriction for Amazon Adventure and the Lava Slides as we have it exclusively (up to age 18), however there is a minimum height requirement of 1.1m for the Lava Slides. Space 2 Be Me Staff will in the Leisure Centre foyer to greet you at 4.15 pm if you are buying tickets for Amazon Adventure.
We will then have an hour’s exclusive use of the Leisure Lagoon Pool with floats and the new Totem splash pad. The usual adult:child ratios apply to the swimming pool ie. 1 adult to 2 children under the age of 8 and over 8 must be accompanied at all times; although please note your children will be your responsibility at all times and although our staff will be poolside to support you, you are expected to be in the water with your children. Children under the age of 5 need to be wearing armbands. Our swimming session is 5.45 pm to 6.45 pm.
We will meet you at 5.30 pm if you are choosing just swimming.
There will be squash and water provided for everyone but unfortunately the cafe will not be open.
Cost per person £4.00 per Space 2 Be Me child member (0-18) for Amazon Adventure or Swimming Session only and £8.00 for both. Parent carers are free. Concession rates available for those on income related benefits (proof will be required).
Usual Maidstone Leisure Centre concessions regarding free entry for disabled young people and their carers do not apply.
Children will remain the responsibility of their parents at all times.
Places are extremely limited, so book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. Once tickets have gone please join our waiting list and we will let you know if we get any cancelations
Not a member or need to renew? That is no problem - you can join via www.space2beme.org.uk. Membership is open to all families with additional needs in West Kent and costs £10 per family per year.
