Whether you’re fascinated by snakes or find them a little scary, there’s so much to learn about these incredible creatures. Join us for a live presentation featuring real snakes and discover the fascinating work of herpetologists.
PROGRAM SCHEDULE
Doors: 10am I Programs begin: 12pm
Explore AMP 10am
Explore the mural and Watches exhibits with self-paced scavenger hunts and I Spy challenges or take a kid-friendly thematic tour.
All-Ages Art Activity 12pm
Create unique art inspired by the day’s learning program, with materials and guidance provided by AMP staff.
Storytime & Craft 1pm
Younger visitors can enjoy a themed story hour paired with a simple, hands-on craft.
"Art of Work" Presentation 2pm
An interactive program led by an expert in the field highlights work—from herpetologists to geologists and more!
Teen Art Studio 10:30am–1:30pm
All teens (ages 13–18) are welcome in this collaborative makerspace to explore art-making with the guidance of a teaching artist. ($5 materials fee or free with an Annual AMP Student Pass)
