Are you ready for the perfect weekend adventure in the summer holidays?Come and join the London Fire Brigade Museum and Massey Shaw Educational Trust as we open up the docks and their firefighting history for one weekend this August.
Get hands-on and dressed up with our Second World War artefacts and original firefighting kit.
Meet firefighters from nearby Millwall station will be on hand to answer questions, alongside a modern working fire engine.
You can explore the historic Massey Shaw fire boat and find out more about the heroic actions of LFB in the Second World War.
The event will take place on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 August between 11am and 4pm.

This event will be taking place by open water on the Dockland Scout Project quayside. Please ensure you keep your children under close supervision when attending, for their safety.
Due to health and safety considerations, we will be limited to having 120 people in the venue at any one time. As such, there may be a need to queue if there are a high number of visitors.
Please note, London Fire Brigade will be taking pictures and video at the event, which may be used to promote future community outreach and museum events.
