Explore with us at the Pūkaha National Wildlife Centre! This exciting family fun day is for all ages to enjoy.Parent to Parent is welcoming you to a day outdoors, just for our Tararua families! Open to all family members, enjoy the aviaries, accessible bush trails, and get a chance to check out the kiwi bird nursery! This day is to relax, enjoy, and connect with other families with a disabled love one.
With this free event, enjoy watching the rangers feed the tuna eels at 1:30pm, and hear the Kākā talk at 3:00pm. Most tracks are accessible to mobility scooters and wheelchairs, and the Kākā Café is available to buy some kai.
Get in quick, as these events are very popular! Please RSVP below or contact Jane Ford to provide the names and ages of the children, and the number of family members attending. We can’t wait to see you there!
