Art activities galore! Designed for ages 5-12. Fun for the whole family!

Family Day on February 3 features the C. P. Gillette Museum of Arthropod Diversity and visitors will create art projects inspired by the current exhibition . Make your own toy guitar and participate in other art, music, and insect-related activities from 10 a.m. to noon! Free & open to all.
The C.P. Gillette Museum of Arthropod Diversity currently houses nearly 5 million preserved insect specimens and is the largest collection of its kind in Colorado. These specimens, whether they are native to our local area or from the other side of the world, play an important role in research and teaching activities at CSU. The collection regularly welcomes visitors to come see how diverse, interesting, and important insects can be!
Family Day is a free, drop-in program featuring art activities inspired by current exhibitions at GAMA. Now every first Saturday from February to May! Explore the galleries! Connect with art and each other! Designed for children ages 5-12.
