About this Event
Family Cooking Night: Fermented Foods
The Rainbow Kitchen Family Cooking Night for National Garden Month will be learning how to ferment foods! On April 26th, Rainbow Kitchen will be welcoming our very own Heather, the Farm Manager at Phoenix School. Her passion and knowledge for growing foods is massive. We will be learning from her recipes to enjoy some ferm-tastic foods!
Family cooking nights are a way to encourage families to cook and be together. Youth aged 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. We will have a youth corner with books and arts & crafts for younger kids.
Admission is free! A suggested donation of $15 per person is appreciated but not required. There will options at the event to donate if you wish.
Interested in volunteering? We could use help with setup before the event and cleanup afterwards. Reach out to [email protected] if you can come early or stay late to help out.
