- How does a symptom develop? Relationship between our emotional bonds and health.
- What are the most common dynamics underlying our illnesses?
Interrupted Outreach Movement towards the mother/father
The “I follow you, dear Dad” unconscious dynamic.
The “Me instead of you, dear Mum” unconscious dynamic.
“Atonement for personal guilt.”
- Questions to ask our client.
- Exploring illnesses and symptoms that run in your family system. Possible loyalties and entanglements.
Methodology:
We will learn through very diverse activities:
- Theory, archetypal constellations.
- Practical exercises in small groups and feedback.
- Attendance to an open workshop on symptoms, holding space, representation, Q&A after the workshop.
You will you take with you:
- A new way of looking at symptoms with curiosity.
- An understanding of how family loyalties may contribute to our symptoms.
- Recognition of some illness patterns.
- Identification of your own family patterns.
- Somatic experience of different dynamics.
- Structured exercises to explore the root of a symptom.
- Exposure to the field.
