You must register by using the link or calling the number below.***Get the family together and come out to Goodenow Grove for a campout! Never taken the kids camping before? No problem! Our team will help with setting up and be there with entertainment and fun for the whole family. All ages are welcome and encouraged to join!
The campout will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, and wrap up at noon Sunday, Sept. 28. All meals, beverages and snacks must be provided on your own. A detailed list of Forest Preserve campsite rules can be reviewed online(Opens in a new window). No dogs, please.
The district has a limited supply of camping equipment available for rental. For more program details or questions, contact recreation coordinator Em Wilcher at [email protected].
A full program agenda will be sent to enrolled participants in early September.
Fee: $5 per person.

The entirety of the program will take place outdoors. Please dress accordingly and prepare for the weather. The campout will take place along uneven natural surfaces with some accommodations for accessible campsites available. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should submit a request online (https://www.reconnectwithnature.org/americans-with-disabilities-act-information/request-accommodation-inclusion-service/) no later than 48 hours before the program.
