The Warren-Trumbull County Public Library’s annual Family Book Day is a celebration of books and reading!SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
11 AM – 3 PM:
--Children & teens ages 0 – 18 who attend will receive a free book to keep;
--Crafts, games, and gaming for children & teens;
--Food and beverages available for purchase from the Little Red Food Truck and Traveler’s Coffee Company.
11 AM – 1 PM: Visit with Bunnies in Baskets (courtesy of F5RS, Frisky Ferrets, Fuzzies, and Feathered Friends Rescue and Sanctuary).
12:30 PM: Yasu Ishida, Magic Story Artist Performance!
Prepare to be amazed, dazzled, and bewildered! This exciting storytelling show makes stories come alive visually through Story-gami, Kamishibai ("Paper Theatre"), and magic tricks! At the end of the show, kids will learn origami!
1:30 PM & 2:30 PM: Meet Katerina Kittycat from “Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood” presented by your local PBS station, PBS Western Reserve. Katerina lives in the treehouse in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe with her mom, Henrietta Pussycat. Katerina loves playing dress up and pretend, but ballet is her favorite thing to do. She twirls to mark any and all occasions! A caring friend to all the Neighborhood children, Katerina wants everyone to have fun.
2 PM: Puppet Show!
