You can attend this workshop by yourself or with your entire family. It is intended for all ages. Learn the basics of Bomba dancing with Cultura Plenera dance instructors and live Bomba drummers. Tap into one of the oldest dance and music practices of the Caribbean – Afro-Puerto Rican Bomba. Bomba is a 500-year old tradition of self-expression, community gathering, and emotional and spiritual release. This workshop is co-hosted by Savage Mill, Carroll Baldwin Hall, and Cultura Plenera.
