We're so excited to see you! Boston University's Family & Friends Weekend 2025 is happening October 17-19. This is your chance to see your Terrier in their element! Walk around campus together, meet their friends, maybe grab dinner at their favorite spot. These are the moments that make our hearts happy — watching you discover the community your student calls home.
This will be a wonderful weekend for you to connect with your student and to experience BU through their eyes. Check out our complete schedule of events online — there's truly something for everyone! After browsing the schedule, then hop over to our registration page for the events that need sign-ups. Some are first-come-first-served, so don't wait too long! And yes, definitely bring your student along — the more the merrier.
Boston is especially beautiful in October — and right from campus, you can watch the 60th Annual Head of the Charles Regatta as it unfolds along the river all weekend. Don’t miss the chance to see the boats glide by with the fall colors as a backdrop! We’ve also created a list of local restaurants and sites as well as area hotels.
