NEW Holiday Origami Class because homemade for the holidays is so much fun! And this class is for everyone - you, the kids, date night, friends and family! Imagine gathering after Thanksgiving dinner, with everyone sharing this fun activity and making memories, and festive fun! All the while decorating your home with special touches that you uniquely crafted.Foxes...what cute ornaments, gift tags or garlands. Boxes! Make your own gift boxes for special treasures, gift cards, or what about an advent calendar where you open a surprise everyday as you count down to the holidays. Origami Christmas trees are just the thing to festive up your home for the holidays - ornaments, garland or place cards for your holiday gatherings.
The first half of this 1-1/2 hour class will be spent learning the basics of origami paper folding and the specific patterns to make a fox, box, and Christmas tree. The second half of class will be spent decorating your creations made during the first part of class.
These photos will inspire you with ways to make your own flair using poms, bells, festive ribbons and bows. Sample materials including gift tags and holiday stampers will be provided, and you can feel free to bring your favorites too.
Each attendee will leave with a take home pattern for each item, as well as their own fabulous origami foxes, boxes and trees created during class. Plus, you can take home an additional five origami holiday papers to continue the fun at home.
We’ve had many inquiries about having your holiday gatherings in the cozy Claytopia studio at one of our evening classes - yes, absolutely! Let us know how many are in your party, and we’ll block off seats for you. You can also bring your favorite holiday treats, snacks and beverages - Claytopia is a paint and sip studio. You can arrive early to do your gift exchange if you’d like too … ho! Ho! Holiday fun while creating super fun memories.
This class is Wednesday November 20 from 6- 7:30 p.m. with a cost of $30/person. Perfect for ALL ages. Step by step instruction and creative vibes are encouraged!
