FAMILY AFFAIR PART 2- PEOPLE'S HEALING & COMMUNITY RESTORATION

IT’S A FAMILY AFFAIR -- Join us on this special day of healing and caring for ourselves and our loved ones. Families for a Future is based on the vision of community-building, service, creative action, and healing. How can we restore ourselves so that we can in turn restore our communities and the Earth? How can we nurture our love and courageous hope?

There will be family & youth friendly activities including:

* Yoga

* Guided meditation

* Breath work

* Massage

* Community-building

* Yummy food

Things you can bring:

 A reusable cup- we will have water for folks to drink

 Cardboard or poster board

 Art making supplies- paint, markers

 Old sheets & Towels for banner making

Let’s build a youth-led, family centered, intergenerational movement in Los Angeles to address the water crisis and climate catastrophe. We will use various forms of cultural resistance/production & healing justice - including dance, music, meditation, visual arts, performance arts. Everything we do will have a healing, service, and action element. We hope to inspire with courageous love the creative disruption necessary to break us free of the status quo and the constant march towards complacency.
